Gillian and I just got off a cruise on the Carnival Miracle!! On our last night (12-8-21) as we were cruising back from Ensenada, MX they received a request for help from a small craft.
Gillian and I were at the comedy show when the announcement came over the speaker that the ship had received a request for help from a small craft off the port side.
The Captain told us in an overhead announcement. He announced that the ship had sent a rescue boat to see what assistance the small vessel was needing.
They also called for Coast Guard assistance for the small craft.
We were only stopped for maybe an hour at most and the announcement came that the vessel was ok and had simply run out of fuel!!
The Coast Guard had arrived to continue assistance and we would be on our way back to Long Beach!
The Carnival Miracles crew was amazing for us onboard and so happy to be back to work!! They did what they needed to do to assist this vessel and it’s occupants and I am so glad we were able to assist them!!
