You are seeing a view screen with part of the Earth from space so blue with green land masses as well as tables and some people sitting at the tables. There is a space vehicle in part of teh view screen that is black to simulate space.

Getting dining reservations at Walt Disney World can be a pain in the behind. Not just the pocketbook. With not all of the dining locations back in service and the dining plan not yet available it is a little easier right now because there are fewer people going to Walt Disney World but there are also fewer options available.

Some of the hard-to-get restaurants are Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, Space 220, Oga's Cantina, a lot of restaurants in Disney Springs and some resort restaurants as well.

Tip 1- If you don't want to have to mess with all this..use a travel agent! I of course recommend Melissa at Looking Glass Travel... cause she is me...I am she... and my family has THE best travel agent..Just saying..

Tip 2- Dining reservations open at 60 days for on-site reservations and 30 days for off-site or local people.

Tip 3- Dining reservations open online/app at 6 am ET and 7 am on the phone for dining which is 407-939-7887.

Tip 4: If you really want to get these hard-to-get reservations you need to be ready online of the app BEFORE they open and refresh right at 6 am. Find the restaurant and possibly keep refreshing until times come up and possibly refreshing a few more times.

Tip 5: Be flexible on your time- When I was making our Space 220 reservation the 1st time slot I tried to grab disappeared by the time I got to the confirmation page. I had to go back and grab another spot. I just grabbed the 1st available because eating there was more important than the time we ate.

Tip 6- Have your credit card info already in your My Disney Experience so you don't have to try and enter it while you are confirming. You do have to enter a credit card to cover the no-show fee of $10 per person if you don't show.

Tip 7- Breath! This can be a frustrating process! You can always use a site like Mouse Dining to look for reservations that come up or check back yourself later to see if anything opened up!

Sometimes getting the perfect dining reservation can take some time. If you don't there is always quick service or if the restaurant you want has a lounge that can be a great way to experience the restaurant with no reservation!
